How did we work ?
Which tools did we used ?
Concerning the trailer, it was made before the movie was finished, this is why you can find mainly part of the beginning of the video.
We used iMovie to create it because we could use an “epic” or “mysterious” atmosphere using the music, the titles and the shots.
To share our researches and documents, we used Google Drive.
This let us see in real time what the other members of the group were doing.
Then, our final production was made using Final Cut Pro X. We began to work on it before december because we were conscient it would be quite long to make. But we were far from expecting a minimum of 2 hour of work for 1 minute of video.
People may think making a movie is just putting pictures after the pictures but not at all … We had to create animations to make objects move, we had to modifie most of the pictures to delete the background …
And we also created pictures, especially diagrams.
It was also a lot of researches:
- to find good pictures on internet
- to re-write the script to make it more understandable in the video.
Finaly, for the music, we used music already present in the software, or musics for the e-penser channel.
